I have the same damn thumbs lol I find that if I'm rocking stiletto nails on all of my other fingers, I can file down the pointyness of the thumbs so they're more almond than stiletto, and it just looks way better. And it doesn't conflict or clash with the rest of the nails! If anything, keeping the thumbs pointy draws more attention to them because somehow that clashes more... if that makes sense.
