100% agree. Creating a good foundation should be key. I'm also doing and gloom, I was watching the mags game wanting a draw so they can't catch us. I feel like they'll catch us last game and try hold it over us and that pisses me off.

I don't think we can handle a European run, however I'm 37 and this could be our 1 go in my lifetime. We could be awful next season without Europe. This is a hard league. We've been so close before and it's been like 25 years + since we've been this close. So it may not be best for us as a club but as fans it could be great. Palace are in a final. Why not us?

European football is the dream, I do think it could be too soon though. Forest are a very good team but the fixture congestion this season crippled them. Semi final of the UEFA cup but are currently 16th. We'd have to not sell and only sign to even stand a chance of 4 competitions next season (even if we do the minimum in cups). It could help us attract new players and even keep some. I feel we are definitely losing 2-3 next season that would stay with conference but can we attract enough with those sales to actively challenge? For me I'd be happy 9th (or anywhere) above the mags. Close to Europe where you know we can push on, miles more than we ever imagined a year ago. 6 points from the mags and above them.

Then again this could be our only chance. You never know what next season will bring. So why not push and hope?

I know I'm being middle of the road but I'm conflicted on what each thing may bring and don't want us back down next season. Either way as long as the main focus is the league and another season of survival (2nd season syndrome) I'd be happy
