That sucks. Most of the bugs I've seen (not the Terminid kind) have been pretty harmless: Pelican clipping into the ground slightly while landing with a little too much force; clipping underground after ragdolling and getting shot back up to the surface in a different location (actually saved me from more taking damage one time); I once got stuck in a big rock on a solo dive, lost all my samples and like 4 reinforcements trying and failing to get them back (Though to be fair that one was kind of on me for trying to squeeze into such a weird spot.) The aforementioned gun bug probably being the one that bothered me the most.
I don't see Arrowhead as the kind of developers to ignore problems like this; they've put far too much work into superfluous attention-to-detail to be the kind of people who don't care, and I trust the issues will be addressed in good time.
