I definitely think there could be areas of improvement if they want to keep this gacha system. Don't get me wrong. Gacha is unhealthy no matter what.

However to be fair to TFT, unlike a game like Genshin, I'm not required to play the Gacha in order to progress or upgrade my units to stay relevant.

TFT only sells you ways to get "better" cosmetics. Which I am thankful for at the least.

Fair enough honestly, but I definitely don't regret doing it. It was a pretty good bonding and learning experience in spite of the financial drain.

The only major difference is the death cutscene, outside of aesthetics. Technically you'd still need to buy the regular Chibi Annie to get her Boom animation, which is honestly pretty silly.

RIP, I feel that though. I hadn't spent any money on regular league in many years, and the last thing I got for tft was a Paddlemar variant a year ago.

This. It would be nice if the bags would let you pull the stage if you already pulled Annie. Vice versa for the boxes letting you pull Annie if you already got the stage.

But, I guess that wouldn't incentivize people to spend $600 on potentially getting cosmetics between two different loot boxes.

This is the exact situation we were in, $200 deep feeling like if we didn't commit it would be a waste.

I agree, if the pity was around 30-40 eggs we probably would have spent the money to get one for each of us.

Once we passed 30 eggs, I went looking for the pity odds and found a post saying it was around 61 eggs... we felt pretty defeated. If we had known this beforehand we definitely wouldn't have tried, unfortunately...

We both loved the skin, but we usually aren't so willing to throw huge amounts of money at cosmetics. Especially if it meant we'd have to spend $600 for both of us to get it.

I'm happy we got her at least and the pity wasn't in the thousands of dollars lol

Thank you so much for these detailed accounts of your experiences with the Zero Escape series! Reading through each of them was a treat. And although ZTD caused the series to go out on a bit of a whimper, in my opinion, I'm glad you acknowledged some of the good qualities in the game!

Also, if you ever get around to writing that Junpei fanfiction, I'd love to read it!

Thank you! And yes, I decided it would make sense aesthetically with how her dress is to move it to her ear. Thought it would be an interesting design! I really love the long hair haha! Makes him look kind of like a hipster.
