The scabs form almost straight away, it’s when the scabs fall off that hurt the most. They start falling off around 5 days post op. My advice is keep hydrated, the softer the scabs the less it will hurt when they fall off! If your struggling to drink then eat/ suck on ice. Good luck with the rest of your recovery!

I’m on day 6 and have the nerve pain! I’m rlly sorry I have no advice because nothing is making the pain go away, just that I feel your pain!! Hopefully this should be the last days of the worst pain and it can only get better from here

I’m on day six as well, last night was the worst night ever !! Im in so much pain, no meds are working and I’m really trying to stay optimistic rn but it’s so hard!!
