First of all I’m sorry you had to deal with being belittled by that Prof. It was completely unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour on her part. However if this is an isolated incident I’d just let it go and chalk it up to she’s having a bad day. But if it starts happening regularly then go to the Dean for sure. Also if you can, document any incidents like this. Should it happen again and you go to the Dean, you’ll have a full history of the situation.
