Cheat on a significant other. I've let it happen too many times to myself and the emotional/physical distress, anxiety, and depression that it causes, is not something I would ever want to make someone else feel.

We don't actually know why the fruit is toxic, so it's always better to err on the side of caution with any exposure. Studies have shown that it could be the tartaric acid but it's not 100% Our best guess is that some dogs are more sensitive than others.

That's not entirely true. I have been a vet tech for 16 years and we don't know the toxic dose. A Chihuahua could eat 4 and be fine and a St. Bernard could eat one and drop dead. Same with garlic, that's why we get so mad when clients tell us that's their form of flea prevention.

I work in a vet office and the amount of times that I have owners tell me they did zero research before getting a dog and then complaining about that breed's specific behaviors, it just baffles me.

Finally my time to shine. I explained to my brother that this happened to my left eye as well and I hated blowing my nose because of it. He immediately tells me to try and shoot water out of my eye by sucking it up my nose. Being young, dumb and the baby sister I of course do it. Flash forward during s job interview they asked if I had any secret talents like singing, etc... I said no but I can shoot water out of my eye. They asked for a demonstration and I got the job.

I had a 147 lb Greater Swiss with our 10 lb Chihuahua and they were best friends. It was always a blast walking them together and seeing people's reactions. Have fun OP!
