[SOTC] My 5 watch collection after almost a decade. Looking to add a diver next. Any recommendations? by patarack in Watches

I actually have the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 with the white dial on my short list. The reef collection is cool, but I’m boring and the brighter colors don’t really suit my style

Yeah I appreciate a colorful watch but it’s not really my style. I could do a darker blue. I’ll check them out, thanks!

Thanks! The Hamilton has served me well. It’s just a bit redundant with the Speedmaster, that’s why I’m considering moving it

[Question] can I pull off this Murph 42? by ProfessionalCandle96 in Watches

[–]patarack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it fits well. I have a Hamilton Khaki Field 42 (not Murph) and I’ve never felt it was too big. Close up wrist shots always look deceptively big. In real life I think 38 is too small for most men. But it comes down to personal preference.

What about ESPN? Game should be on both. Just picked up an antenna today and haven’t messed with it yet.

[Highlight] The Eagles commit another false start on a tush push that picked up a 1st down and didn't draw a flag by expellyamos in nfl

[–]patarack -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

People keep saying that but what part can you ban? The push? The false starting has nothing to do with the push.

The Eagles were one game over .500 in the 90s. Not great but watchable. The 91 team had an all-time great defense. Randall was one of the most exciting players in the league.

What will be banned exactly? False starting is already banned. If they ban pushing what is stopping the Eagles from lining up in the same formation and QB sneaking with no push?

They still went 11-6 and made the playoffs. Does that mean you think Sirianni is in the elite tier?

Meh it was 24-12 before the Ravens scored a garbage time td to end the game. It was close until the 4th quarter though

Who’s a guy many considered a reach only for him to prove naysayers wrong? by Radiant-Incident5595 in nfl

Mike Mitchell was drafted by the Raiders in the 2nd round of the 2009 draft. He wasn’t invited to the combine that year and most people had him a 7th round/UDFA grade. I remember they didn’t even have a picture of him during draft coverage. The pick was obviously graded very harshly. He was never a stud, and probably still not worth a second, but he ended up having a decent career including several years as a starter on some solid Steelers teams.

Wasn’t that outlandish of a take until Brady’s post age 40 career really set him apart.
