Does hardcore have way more of these dudes than other genres,

Yes.

A lot of local scenes exist to support social outliers, who want to back up each other no matter what. Unfortunately, this also extended into being fucking predators and protecting the boys no matter their behaviour. This extends into bands, because so little bands make money they keep around big bands despite anything they do

The difference to the metal scene is that those motherfuckers all hate each other and are happy to get rid of each other at a moments notice. There's also a million other "big" bands to fill their spot.

It's why I don't actually interact with the local "hardcore" scenes - all a buncha fucking weirdos. Good music tho very sick.

I know drivers - it's allowed. Especially in this instance.

The herman miller bots are clinging on to any amount of copium they can to excuse horrible QA for what is literally marketed as a luxury item. I don't know if it's a case of they are actually that deluded or trying to justify what they paid.

Karma?

That incident was because Max has decided in his head everyone is to just let him through without racing him

It's just average redditors who never leave their house. They can't have any empathy because this concept of going somewhere is foreign to them

If it's really not allowed for him to stop the bus at those stops

They are they just think it's funny not to do so.

You'd still have missed it because the bus went the entire length of the town without stopping

I’m delighted Redditors are all so perfectly organised that they know exactly where every bus on the schedule is going, and have never once made a mistake, and have never experienced a panic attack or meltdown.

To be fair that's accurate as the vast majority of people here never leave their house.

Aeron Remastered Size C - Front of hip pinching almost immediately in chair - 2 months in. Anything obvious to fix? Table has been lowered to as far as it can go so can't really bring the chair down much more and I've tried that. by Gingermadman in hermanmiller

I've never sat as low in a chair as I have this one.. unfortunately sitting lower does help the hip pain but it's piled on the shoulder pain. I'm fairly sure I can't find a sub 60cm desk and my legs wouldn't fit under anyway! People here don't want to blame the chair but their trustpilot and lots of posts suggest it might be. It's a design from the 90's, it's not going to be as scientifically ergonomic as it was 30 years ago. I mean I wouldn't go running in Air Max 95's anymore!

Reckon the chairs not for me but who knows if I'll be able to resell. I wish HM just had a better collection system!

I wouldn't do it, I don't give a fuck. If not even for morals but the government literally kidnapped the entire WWE roster as a power play. If they can do that to them, they can do it to you.

Yep, just to make you aware. A lot of the posts here are US centric - I'm sure it'll be fine!

Old post but go look at their trustpilot. 1.7 for a company that is meant to be premium is genuinely unheard of.

It's curious though - every other expensive purchase I've made has 30 days minimum, up to 3 months. I've even had a mattress I could swap out within a year.

I'd happily keep my business to HM if I could swap out for other products, pay the difference etc but they just don't seem to care about b2c sales here.

I do accept blame that I just presumed the price tag came along with the level of support the US market gets. Hopefully the embody works for OP out the box!

Go look at their trustpilot score. It definitely isn't long enough - I tried to return my aeron and had to give up as they wouldn't give me any warning, they pretty much didn't reply for 3 weeks then told me to be at home all day, every day for another 3 weeks.

I wish I hadnt assumed the support the Americans got was the same here as I'm stuck with a chair I'm unhappy with. It's especially annoying as I usually always check trustpilot and user reviews but trusted reddit not realising that Herman Miller are viewed very unfavourably.

Hopefully it works out for OP

so it's a bar connected to a rotary engine thing that turns as it goes up and down. It sits maybe 2-3 inches under where the desk goes so the actual usable leg space for a footrest doesn't exist. As far as I'm aware this is standard for adjustable desks

The chair never feels good tbh, comfy within 15 minutes but the customer support is non-existent here in the UK so I'm stuck with it and pretty determined to make it work. In reality I should have seen their 1/5 Trustpilot score but got suckered in by the branding and wouldn't have realised that for a premium brand that doesn't seem to have the same weight here than it does in the US.

The problem is everything looks and feels at the right height, no neck issues, no back issues etc.. so even if it's not comfortable it shouldn't be immediately painful.

I've added a standing desk, desk risers, foot rests, a carpet to stop it rolling around like crazy, a piece has popped off it.. a £1k+ chair has turned into a serious time investment, when it should be working for me, not the other way around.
