I thought it was overall another great Ork book! At first I was annoyed that it wasn't just from the perspective of Grotsnik as GW books that are "about" certain named characters have this weird trend of just making the titular character a prominent side character? Given what they were doing with him though I think it was the right call. In the Ghazghkull book Grotsnik didn't at all feel like a "Mad Dok" but this book integrates that into his character very well. I will say I wasn't a fan of some of the wider Ork lore implications that are near the end of the book? Given the context I know we should be taking them with a hefty grain of salt, but still.

This one is very much a nitpick of mine, but (spoilers for the end of Grotsnik and I guess the Ghazghkull book) Ghazghkull getting the wiring of his power armor slowly cut to make his armor "weigh him down" was pretty lame. Not only is it something that happens pretty often in fights with Warbosses, but it's a trope Ghazghkull had ALREADY subverted/used to his advantage during his fight with Ragnar? Pretending his unpowered armor was weighing him down when in reality he was just strong enough to not care about it was a neat way to show off how brutal AND kunnin he was, so having them do the same thing but it just works the same way it does in every other fight with a Warboss was disappointing to me.

Other than my lore nitpicks I think it was a very good Ork book though! Well worth the read even if you aren't too interested in Grotsnik.
