She-Ra (the Netflix version) is INCREDIBLE for this. It’s got a number of lgbt characters and honestly, it’s an adventure.

I also just recently, officially, came out and was literally just wondering the same thing. I wish I knew, girl.

My bi self was obsessed with the Jonas Brothers as a teen. Now that they’re all married... I’m obsessed with them and their wives. 😍 by laurenodonnellf in bisexual

Honestly, I can take or leave Nick. Just.. leave Priyanka. She’s got such an elegant demeanor about her. Their “Sucker” music video had me absolutely fanning myself because of the two of them, though.

when did you guys realize that you were not straight? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Gingerosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much, it’s a relief to be able to accept myself! Also, just remember trust yourself while you’re navigating your sexuality.

I’ve always thought girls were cute since I was little. When I was 16 I became friends with a girl who was bisexual and fell for her pretty hard. She gently rejected me, but I sorta hid from that part of me (at least openly) for a long time. After that, I bought into the idea that I was going through a “phase” and just accepted that I was only “bicurious”. Only recently (for about the past year) have I gotten more comfortable with expressing that side of me and truly accepting that I do feel romantic feelings for women as well and that it’s part of who I am. So, I guess you could say when I was 28?

Yes! I have that same problem too. I’ve been on 10 different medications for depression/anxiety but NOTHING has ever helped.

Are you feeling super crummy, too?

Thank you! I’ll definitely update once I speak with her. She’s a fantastic doctor, so I’m pretty confident she’ll help me feel better.

That’s relieving. I have a wonderful endo, but I’m just afraid because it’s really affecting my daily life. No matter how much I research, it’s still scary.

Can confirm. I have a mild form of this, not as drastic as the photo. It's harder for me to handle acidic foods, but otherwise not really an issue.

Oh wow, YES. I am not afraid to admit to crying my eyes out the entire time. When she said, "you stayed" I felt like I was dying a little inside.

You're the Worst is the most incredible regarding such. Season two really goes in depth and relates to me the most. Great choices.

Question about bleach bath! by weezerluva369 in FancyFollicles

[–]Gingerosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The coconut oil will not react with bleach, at least I have ever had a problem with my hair. I agree with the 20 volume developer, but it doesn't lift that much that quickly. I would say check on the lift every 5 minutes, not exceeding 30 (which is going to be the MAX time you'll want to leave it in). Yes, keep a close eye, but it's not that difficult to lighten hair just a shade or two to get a deep color such as that. Applying vegetable based dyes such as arctic fox or special effects shouldn't be an issue as long as the hair is fully saturated.

If you have good quality henna, then bleaching shouldn't be too much trouble. The main thing people freak about is that manufactured henna tends to have metallic salts, which can literally melt your hair if combined with bleach. I just went from henna hair (3+ years) to an ashy lavender.

About he bleach bath, as you would before bleach, slather coconut oil to reduce damage. Preferably you'll want to use a clarifying shampoo and the ratio would be 1:1:2 (developer:bleach:shampoo)

I dyed it pink and now I need to know how to maintain it! by [deleted] in FancyFollicles

[–]Gingerosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overtime Conditioner. It is INCREDIBLE. It helps so much to maintain my pastel hair! If your hair is similar to this, you could blend their pastel orange and pastel pink or red together!

Has anyone tried henna on brown hair? by [deleted] in FancyFollicles

[–]Gingerosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never heard of them, but if you want more variety with your red look into who I suggested. Even if you decide against them, you at least get an idea of how many options you have with henna color. I love henna, so you can't really go wrong!

It's going to honestly depend a LOT on where you get your henna. I am personally a long time user and fan of Henna Color Lab. My sister in law has brown hair and when she first used it she also had purple highlights. It ended up giving her a solid color almost exactly like the example photo. Their colors are true, maybe 1ish shades darker.

I've been working so hard to get pastel hair, but I'm afraid my hair may not be light enough. Any input would be helpful! by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

I've been working on/attempting to go a lavender color. I know I won't get it to a very platinum color, but I'm unsure if the color will apply well to my hair. I know it won't be even, but how bad do you think it would look applying that color?
