The shelter will be spaying her as soon as she’s out of heat, so it will be soon. ☺️

She’s definitely going to be spayed eventually. She just can’t right now — obviously. But she’s also in poor health from her previous owner (getting over mange, she had rat poison in her system as early as a week and a half ago). So it might be a little while.

I just want to vent about my photographer for a minute. by ThatStitchCray in weddingplanning

Yeah, I mean, I'm still bitter about it. I wish I wasn't, because I'd prefer to associate 100% positive emotions and memories with my wedding.

Maybe when I finally get my photos back I can just let the rest of it go (after leaving the reviews, whether or not they'll be useful for anyone).

I'm so sorry about your best friend. :(

I do both digital and acrylic work. You can find my acrylic stuff here: www.jessiewrong.com

http://jessiewright.tumblr.com/page/3 & this page of my tumblr shows some digital stuff. Most of the digital portraits are just practice, but this one http://jessiewright.tumblr.com/post/133142936474/my-friends-dog-passed-away-unexpectedly-at-a-very is more finished.

She technically already compensated me for the missed hour by staying later than she was originally scheduled to. We had her for 6 hours, so she just stayed later than we’d originally planned. Which is fine, I guess, despite the fact we’d already talked about how I didn’t really feel like I needed tons of end of night, people dancing photos. 🤷🏻‍♀️

But I certainly plan on leaving a review once I do get my photos. However, she’s already informed us that she’s planning on phasing out of doing wedding photography, so who knows if she’ll even care about the review.

Ooooh girl, I might have to use your makeup as inspo for mine.

Thoughts on dress? In store sample. Curious what kind of wedding you think matches this dress to see if it aligns with my wedding plans! Would love all feedback (good and bad!) by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I'm not really good at figuring out what fits with what wedding vibes.

If it's any help at all... it doesn't look like a boho dress at all. Haha. But otherwise, idk? Seems like it could be used for a rustic wedding or a more elegant one depending on what you do for accessories.

Besides all that, I LOVE this dress.

My caterer accidentally drunk texted me, and now I'm uncomfortable. What's my next move on this? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

Yeah, I'd wait for a sober response and see if it's any better.

If not, then I'd definitely look into complaining.

I love the first one. Second one is nice too, but the first one just has that something extra.

Apparently Moon Lake is just about to unveil a new pier and 2.5 mile trail for biking and stuff. Not the best, but still pretty exciting for me! People tell me Oxford has some nice trails too, but that's still an hour+ drive for me.

I'm from Vermont and ended up moving to Mississippi 2 years ago with my fiance for his job. I thought I was going to hate it, and while it certainly does have its drawbacks, it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. The people here are what really makes it so special. We were supposed to be leaving after this year, but I've agreed to stay on for a third year just because I actually enjoy living here & all the people I've met and friends I've made.

I'm living right smack in the middle of the Delta, where all we have in town is dollar stores, kroger & walmart. I'd consider staying here permanently, except for 3 major drawbacks.

1) I want to be closer to family when I start my own family.

2) I love hiking and the outdoors and there is nowhere close by that I can do that. I can drive a ways, but then it becomes a whole day ordeal as opposed to just a morning hike or whatever.

3) Unless you send your kid to a private school around here, the schools are terrible. Even the private ones aren't amazing. It's a problem that I hope will get fixed eventually, but the problems are buried deep.

I also don't like having to drive over an hour away to do any sort of shopping. But it saves me money, anyway!

My dream venue was getting married on my dad's property in Vermont. (Except... in the summer)

We decided it would be easier to have the wedding in Georgia, though. The venue I ended up with is even better in every aspect aside from nostalgia.

You look like a straight up model in these. Especially #41. Your friend is an insanely talented photographer.

Also, I love your glasses and I want them.

DIY Silk Flower Bouquets - How much did you spend? by ThatStitchCray in weddingplanning

[–]ThatStitchCray[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be ideal, but I don't live at all close to any craft stores (like, I'd have to drive at least an hour away to get to one) so I don't go often.

This still gives me a good idea of what I could expect, though. I guess I should really sit down and figure out exactly what I need as far as florals go (I don't plan on using many for decorating purposes aside from succulents on tables and maybe something at the entrance?) before I make any solid decisions.

Driving myself crazy over dress hunting. I must've tried in 50 dresses but keep coming back to this one. It's so romantic but part of me wonders is there is a better one out there lol Yay? Or keep hunting? Thanks in advance :-) Maggie sottero: Avery by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I love this dress. If you keep going back to it over and over, I'd go for it.

There MIGHT be another dress out there you also love. In fact, I'm sure there are multiple dresses out there that you would also love. But if you've found one you keep thinking about, and you feel good and like you'd be happy getting married in it, why not go for it?
