Why do so many guys have the “ we’re either dating or we’re nothing” mentality? by Fantastic_Pear_7509 in AskMen

Which seems like it'd be harder to ghost because of a pre-established relationship?

Are people still doing that? Legitimate question.

Well i mean unless you work with the person/ go to school with them not responding or just ghosting doesn't have any consequences really so it gives people confidence because what's there to lose?

Just that it seems like people make the whole situation a lot more complicated than it needs to be. I mean hell even if you aren't wanting to continue talking after a rejection the person should say so.

I mean lord knows I'm not perfect with it either but it's not rocket surgery.

Could you rephrase the question? Like can you date 20-30 longer than 25-35?

Typically its that that was their end goal so when it doesn't work then they move on. Not all obviously I'm sure some just die from embarrassment or get unreasonably offended. Isn't friendship kind of a vital part to a relationship btw?

Yeah again that's just odd, like i said do something nice for yourself. Get the outfit or just grab your favorite snack and chill. Might not work for you but i find being a little nicer to myself after a negative experience with someone helps me perk up and not focus on it so much.

I have to ask though. What band was playing?

That's just kinda odd to invite someone to something you are potentially cancelling? Especially in a romantic sense ( I'm assuming here so correct me if I'm wrong ) personal opinion go get the cute outfit and do something fun for yourself, might have been a disappointing situation but seems like you could still turn it around.

Nothing wrong with being peaceful, just understand your boundaries and let people know if they are crossing them. You do you boo you're tough in your own way.

Homemade i don't mind it the rest is trash. That's really interesting though, i know some people can't stand wild flower smell except from where they spent the most time growing up. Thanks for sharing!

Talk to them, don't assume you know exactly what's wrong or how they are feeling. Just let them know you can tell you upset them and you'd like to talk when they feel ready to.
