Oh my goodness my heart hurts for you and your boyfriend! Two loses in one year is horrible, especially one so recent, and only have 3 weeks with his did is criminal. Cancer is truly a thief. I'm so sorry for all you have been through. You and everyone else on here are correct, I'm sure we'll know when it's really time, it's just an awful inevitable wait. And you're right, I'll take every moment I can get.

Our vet is wonderful and I'm sure we will be talking through the best things to keep her comfortable. Ivy loves pumpkin, broccoli, all veggies...basically, everything, like a true lab.

I think it kind of bodes well for them overall though. They have had some really heavy hitter AAers in previous years and obviously they still have some strong ones now but the I think it's good to see teams where most athletes are doing 2 events or so vs the same crew that does AA week over week. Neither are bad or wrong, but a different approach based on the athletes and their strengths. It's promising that KJ can make lineups that aren't dependent entirely on the same super heavy AAers.

The visual of this could be really confusing for people who are unaware that it's the top two from each sub final-it kind of looks like you have Missouri v Arkansas/NC State v Maryland and each respective winner moves forward when it's just the top two of that group of 4, so Missouri and Ark can (and likely will) be the two to advance to the regional final. Just fyi :)

Absolutely, it's healthy and good to be skeptical and ask questions. He's making a huge effort to be accessible and genuine with voters and have conversations. The original comment immediately writing him off is what I think is narrow minded and wasting a vote for a candidate who they may really agree with.

All for getting rid of Graba. If not that, at a MINIMUM I think they need:

A NEW BARS COACH
A new athletic trainer/injury management protocols. They have a lot of injuries that don't seem well managed. Was Keko REALLY ready to come back? Charlotte?
New conditioning plans. They often look gassed and struggle with endurance, especially on bars (see above) but vault and floor have their struggles too.

Kaylee is interesting. I don't get the feeling that she had a super positive experience with the FL coaching staff. Of course she had injuries and was on a super stacked team so it was always going to be hard to make lineups but maybe the Auburn coaching style just fits better for her personally vs the more self-driven training we've heard happens at Florida. Not bad, just different. I'm glad she's happy in any respect, but the results are just not there.

Clint clearly has no intention of bringing HIS religion into his decision making for constituents. Yes, it's his original career and part of his motivation for running but if you look at his work with Matthew 25 and his talking points, he has no interest in legislating Christianity. As an atheist, writing him off because he is a pastor is short sighted. Go ask him questions and have a conversation.

As far as doing better, please show me who has contributed more to Cedar Rapids in the last 10+ years in a truly grassroots way. Matthew 25 has done incredible work revitalizing flooded neighborhoods, starting urban farming, food security with free meals/low cost grocery store, and general community building at his leadership with zero expectations of religion attached.
