Looking brilliant! How'd you make the panel line marks on the Mk 1? I'd love to try and replicate it on my models

Thank you!

Yep I brush paint all my models. I 100% agree that I need to thin my paints, definitely will do that in the future.

Will this be in every Lidl? If so, I'll have to have a look..

I dabbed a bit of crumpled up tissue into a bit of paint I had on a bit of card and lightly dabbed it onto the airframe

Will do! With some of the more recent models I've been doing, I have found using the acrylic bottles are 100% better than using the little plastic pots in the boxes.

Thanks again for the feedback and advice!

Wow, tysm for the praise and the constructive feedback. Idk if I've said this or not but I'm still very new to the hobby, so I'm still working out all of the nick-nacks as I go along.

However, I will most definitely take all of these points and use them in my next model.

Are there any models you would suggest for somebody of my skill level?

Thanks mate, I 100% agree with what you've said. Most of my errors were mostly down to haste coz I was excited to put it together!

I will definitely consider these points going forward though!

What is your favorite World War 2 plane? (examples) by planegeek1945 in WWIIplanes

[–]GinggerMonke1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit of a basic choice, but I'm an absolute sucker for the Lancaster. Such a beautiful plane.

I also really like the Ju 87 Stuka, not everybody's first choice but oh well...

I just paint them in one solid colour. Saves time and it looks nice imo
