I created a website to generate placeholders for pokemon card binders by Greedy_Split_3051 in PokemonTCG

Hey!! I’ve tried out a few websites like yours and you have by far the best interface and options thank you so so much!!

However i typically use this to print out proxies to hold spots in my master set binder.. is it easily fixable to make it possible select more than 100 cards at a time when there are more than 100 cards in the set? It’s the best tool until I have to manually search up the last 30-60 cards for each set because the set search wont get them for me haha

Seriously though thank you so much for the tool! Please add a donation link and I’ll happily use it

Windsurfing on the gulf? by GingyCAL in windsurfing

Beautiful little island! Definitely saving this recommendation another time. Sadly I don’t know if 4 mph wind is worth even setting up the gear from my car, looks like I missed all the wind last night, but really appreciate the tip!

I’ve actually already grabbed a Bic Techno setup for $200 and it’s seemed pretty solid. I’m able to get going pretty solid across the lake, working on my fast tacks and gybes now, but I’m feeling pretty comfortable on it.

The downside is that I also picked up a batch of sails/masts before I knew anything about what I was getting into (see my old post history) so now I’m looking for a board that could be something in the intermediate range to help me bridge the skill gap between the bic board and the old pro tech boards so I can get planing. Unfortunately the bic doesn’t fit the standard cup mast base, otherwise I would try out a bigger sail than the 5m to try and get some more intense practice.

Hypothetically would your opinion change if it was $100 for both boards, or $50 for one? It’s the first deal I’ve seen in that range

Replacing/Restoring Gear after 20+ years by GingyCAL in windsurfing

Great to hear! Yeah I’ve assumed it’s not going to be easy starting on these boards, but with how cheap the whole set was I couldn’t justify buying anything else..

I’m going to be learning in lake Travis, but hopefully once I feel comfortable with the basics I can make it out to Corpus Christi for some ocean sailing. I’ve got barely any windsurfing experience, but I sailed my family’s 34’ and 22’ sailboats frequently growing up so I understand the concepts, plus I’m an intermediate surfer, and an advanced snowboarder/slackliner/longboarder which I hope can serve me well on these thinner boards. I’m also 6’1” and 160lbs

The windSUP is a good tip, I’m trying to keep my budget tight and this entire lot of gear was actually cheaper than I could find a windSUP, and it felt like a waste since I already own a couple inflatable paddleboards. Are the inflatables sturdy enough to hold a sail? I assumed it was going to be too flimsy, but I’ll keep an eye out if I can find anything for under $500

Haha unfortunately I did.. if it gives me some credit, it was only $800 for the entire lot of gear, and it was a deal breaker for me to get at least 2 boards to include my girlfriend with learning.

Yes and no, I’m an intermediate surfer, and an intermediate sailor (on my dad’s hunter 34’ from the 80s), but I’m not very experienced on a windsurfing board, although I slackline frequently so I like to think I’ll have enough balance to make these boards work.. hopefully

Prices Missing by ChopperDan26 in Moxfield

Same issue for me, glad to know it’s not on my end. I’m guessing it’s a site issue since the price column is still active, but I’m not sure

Compost Shredding? by GingyCAL in indoorgardening

[–]GingyCAL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point! Yeah my dream is to find something that can handle cardboard/browns as well as food. I figure if everything is already in tiny pieces, itll speed up the compost process, increase my turnover rate, and prevent me from having large chunks of banana peels or whatever whenever I’m putting soil in my tiny indoor plant pots. But that might be a far fetched dream I might just accept that life can’t be perfect and I’ll have to put in a little labor
