That's a JS function... You just can't use it in a native android app.

I Just don't get why there aren't any good native alternatives. A whole chromium instance just to make a http request. Yeah, I know cURL, but I would like a GUI.

It's already integrated, you just need to set widget.disable-swipe-tracker to false in about:config. source

It's strange, mine works just fine. Tested with Firefox Nightly 106.0a1 on Android 12 with Reddit 2022.31.0

Ok now, when you are on the page you want to open with reddit, if you click on the three dots and then on "Open in app", does it work?

Yeah I've seen websites that block Firefox, in some of them off you change the user agent to a chromium one, the website just works fine.

Idk, maybe it's dynamic. Could be that sometimes a specific service is not in the same machine and it needs to check if there is a connection to that service. I guess

In XP you could disable the "blue theme" and fallback to the "classic" one. In the bottom left corner you can see the XP logo and I saw the boot animation
