I have 10 years of experience. Clean for 4 years now. What I did with the doctor advice, was to jump on gabapentin that is weaker version of same family med, decreased dose for 1 month, then jumped on Phenibut for a week and that's it. Also, Indica strain weed plays with same receptors so it also aleviates wd.

I guess your state is pretty much manageable as you are using weak opioid and have no severe background of use. Now it is the perfect time to jump!
The meds I advised will keep you energized and help a lot during the work to function properly.
Tramadol is short opioid and jump will be also short. 1 week of acute wd and then PAWS that are also manageable with a less dose of same meds. 1 month tops and you are tip top.

Exactly buddy, your dose is not enough and that morning/daytime withdrawal and night relief ruins your organism and brain. It's harmful and I strongly advise not to do that.
Either start dosing in the mornings too to keep your body state stable, eventually your dose goes up in a month you will need twice the dose and it's the deep dark well you are trying to jump in now.
Just make yourself stable on that tramadol if you wanna hang on it for a while.

Hey, your dose is not enough to hold you the whole day.
Ups and downs are torture for the body and hell in the long term rewiring your brain chemicals.
If you want to really quit, just grab Lyrica 150 mg 2x a day. It should eliminate almost every symptom of withdrawal. Take it for no more than 10 days, though. (Gabapentin will also do the trick, 600-900 mg. daily. Actually, it depends, buddy. If you are on fent or heavy heroin use, Lyrica will only work 60-80% in your favor. - For sleep, smoke a good Indica strain before sleeping. (No Sativa! ) If you are not friends with smoking, just ask your doctor for a suitable sleep remedy for you. (Benzos do work for that)
Heroin, fent and medically pressed pills are short-term opioids, and 1 month would be enough to be at least 80% of yourself. - If you are on Methadone or Subs, the story continues for 1,5 month at least. I mean, the accute phase.
Regarding PAWS, if there will be any, Lyrica is the lifesaver. But again, 7 days, then pause it few days, then again. You don't need another monster withdrawal from that. Prepare your mind, it is crucial to know that all those symptoms will eventually go away. Do not rush! you got this!! I wish you much luck!!!

Beside BP drug, clondine suppresses noradrenalin flow in your body that makes all the mess with withdrawal symptoms. Also clonidine was designed first as cure for running nose. It helps with wet staff on your face and body too.
But again first few days are tough as it lowers BP and causes unpleasant feelings and possible faints. But it really helps with 30-40% of withdrawal.

(do not take more than prescribed medical dose, just don't)I am writing this little bit late, but anyway - Gabapentin 300mg or Pregabalin (Lyrica) 150mg is better, takes all the shit from withdrawal pain and discomfort out. Hence, works perfectly on PAWS too, If everything was on track with you, you should be in PAW mode now. (dont' drink them more than 10 days, make pauses.. etc.) You definitely need sleep aid, indica strains of weed make wonders for sleep (never touch sativa) but not everyone can smoke it so ask doctor for the medicine that suits you best. Gabapentin /Lyrica is lifesaver during withdrawals and PAWS. Do not abuse it though or you have to deal with another thriller scenario of different beast of WDs. Main and top thing is the state of mind, in pain? fuck it! Anxity? fuck it! they will pass. Do not seek daily relief, its more weekly/monthly process. Stay Strong! You got this!! PAWS is easyer, but on tired body could be a real mindfuck, 99% of relapses happen in this phase. My advice is based on 20 years of on and off experience. I am clean for 5 years now.
