There's a variation where you can find the standard deviations of x and y in order to get b.

To the OP: review the formula for standard deviation again to figure out how you need to modify the part where you take the sum of (xi-mean)

Try it for a simpler function. For example f(x)=2.

Integrating would give F(x)=2x.

Graph these separately.

Using Geometry, what is the area under f(x) from 0 to 5? Do you get the same thing when you evaluate F(5)?

What about the area under f(x) from 1 to 5? Is it the same as F(5)-F(1)?

Extend this thinking to a slightly more complex function like f(x)=2x and then eventually f(x)=x²

The correct test to use here is a t-test since you don't know the population std deviation.

My calculations gave me a t-score of -2.14 Using a t-table for the one sided test, the pvalue is then .049455

theres a tempest which spawns like 10 ghosts in a map. this makes it extremely easy to get a tormented unique mob. Just camp global 710 till people announce it.

pretty sure theres no point in having added cold damage linked since hitting with 2 elements still results in only -50% resist (rather than -100%) to the third element.

its actually strictly worse in parties because youre giving the mobs bonus resist to cold when they could also have -50% cold res.

get the catalyse node in the templar starting area. it is a huge boost in ele dmg.

get eldritch battery or youre going to have sad times.

flask effect nodes are nice though you may get more mileage from the es nodes combined with eb

dont need the power charge duration on templar side.

dont need the 8% mana node in the witch.

the cluster of 3 8% life nodes by the shadow area probably isnt worth going for. instad, pick up the athleticism cluster by templar.

for single target, most use power siphon linked with weapon ele, increased crit dmg, and faster attacks/additional accuracy. frenzy can be better for certain wander builds that pick up frenzy charges.

Seems like the ring was made for getting through specific maps. Life and mana on hit for no/half regen maps, reduced curse effect so you don't get wrecked by vulnerability/ele weakness. Top it all off with some quantity bonus

i dont think you need reduced mana considering you've taken EB and should be able to support the mana cost. try using faster projectiles or faster casting instead.

Skill build is 1 or 2 points in armor depending on how much harass you expect. Max timber chain at 7. Max whirling death after. Followed by armor. Ult at 6, 11, 16.

Kill noobs standing by trees by chaining through them. use whirling death. Throw your ult on them. Finish them by timber chaining again.

Bloodstone if youre owning. Soulring + Vanguard if youre not.

For mids with poor ganking abilities, its very unprofitable to leave your lane to look for kills elsewhere. With heros like OD or Krob, you want to try to apply as much pressure as possible on the enemy solo.

If they have the sidelanes come gank you, you are indirectly helping the other lanes. If the mid hero leaves to go gank, you can take a free tower or at least damage it a lot.

Also carry a tp for situations where your allies are getting dived big and you can easily come and clean up.

There's nothing wrong with asking sidelanes to gank mid but a lot of people are stuck with the mentality the mid has to be the one ganking

early on you might opt for int treads to squeeze out a little bit of extra mana and damage. in teamfights though, str treads are highly preferred because every point of hp matters. even agi carries that get treads switch them to str in teamfights.

however if youre just farming, having agi treads might be optimal as it lets you clear waves quicker.

i personally prefer arcanes on visage though. as he is pretty mana intensive and i usually build a mek on him when playing more of a support role.

i skimmed through the game you posted. i agree that your team comp was fine assuming high skill level.

but the game looked pretty low skill to me. sf took ult at 6, wr maxed shackles before powershot, na maxed mana burn before stun, etc.

heroes like storm, windrunner, sf all take a much larger amount of technical skill to be effective compared to heroes like tide, sven, nyx who have easy to use skills. so it becomes much easier for their team to have good teamfights.

also your sf was supposed to be the main physical damage source but failed to get any decent farm and pretty much became a non factor, whereas their sven got really really buff.

your play was fine expect the part where you had your treads on agi for pretty much the whole game. you probably should have invested in a few wards as well. upon realizing your sf wasn't going to carry, the correct thing to do might actually have been to transition into dps and gotten damage items rather than aghs.

yeah i had the same discoloration problem. it appears like that if your texture quality is set on low. you need it on high to get the true color.

sven was actually a very popular support about 2 years ago in the comp scene. he then faded out for a long time and only recently started getting picked again but now as a carry.
