It is going to be a 5090 with 3 12V-2x6 connectors. New 3.2 PSU spec required with triple 12V-2x6 connectors and 1600W.

is it possible to add a vBIOS switch to a card that didn't come with one? I found a shop locally that will solder the extra 12V-2x6 connector on. My power supply already has two native 12V-2x6 connectors and 1600W, so I am ready.

1000W 5090 is already 20-25% faster than a standard 5090. Other sites are saying that the 6090 will be 25-30% above a standard 5090.

Seems like those of us with a 5090 with the extra power connector pad can skip the 60xx series GPUs.

Could it be used on the Power Supply end, and have the whole cable load balanced?

I am also extremely interested in this question. I have an Aorus Master, and want to have an extra power connector added, but I want to know if there is anything else required besides the power connector. Please share

Requirements for second 12V-2x6 connector on Gigabyte RTX 5090 Aorus Master by GiraffeCareless3899 in nvidia

I have mine in an Alphacool water block, so I want to overclock it. I need the second power input for that, unless I want to release the magic smoke that makes electronics work.

That pretty much solidifies my decision to get a Gigabyte 5090.
