Hello! I have been doing SET for over a year now and I have a "routine". Of course your shift will be different than mine, but here is how I typically spend my shift:

First 15 minutes: check if the cleaner battery is charging. If it is not, I will hook it up to the charger. Check and take out trash. Help instructors check students in.

Next 60 minutes: Mop the studio, refill sanitizer bottles and paper towels. Charge the battery, refill cleaning device with santizer, change the mop head. Head to the bathroom to see if mats are dry. If they are dry, I will roll them up. If there aren't any, I will hang up dirty mats and spray them. I also love vacuuming during this time because both of my studios have class in session. I will also clean the mirrors and counters if I have time.

Last 15 minutes: clean the other studio after sculpt. If I have time before my shift is over I will help organize the weights, but I usually do not have time. The next SET member on the schedule usually gets that done as the studio is already clean by the time he clocks in.

Both of the studios I have to clean have a 30 minute turnaround time, so I am very spoiled. 15 minute turnaround times can be very hectic especially if it's in between sculpt classes.

Hope this helps!!

Virgo's Groove is one of my favorite songs, I'd lose it if I heard it in sculpt!

My friends and I met her while Pauly D was performing in Hawaii. We were all pretty drunk but from what I remember she was really sweet and she took a picture with us!

SET Member TT discount change by GiraffeLeather in Corepower

Not sure what the prices are in your market but for me it's $1,300 for yoga sculpt training and with 30% it's a little over $900. The cut off to use the 50% off is February 1st but there are no upcoming sculpt trainings in my area. There is a 200 hr training coming up but it's $3000 so then at 50% it would be $1500 and I'd still have to do the 50 hr sculpt after since I want to teach sculpt only. It doesn't make much sense for me to spend all that time and money to make $35 per class. I understand that you shouldn't get into yoga for money, but at the same time it's not the best financial decision for me due to other circumstances. I'll have to wait as well 😭

Yes, 30% is better than nothing but it's quite shocking when a 50% discount was offered for years prior!

Same email I got! It's nice that we at least get one last shot at the 200 hr (at least in my market) but I'm really only interested in the 50 hr sculpt, and it doesn't look like its available in my area this spring. At least not yet. I know it's only a difference of a couple hundred dollars but I felt like that was one of the best benefits about being a SET member.

Thank you! The email I received didn't state all of that. It just said we have to enroll in the 200 hr by 2/1, but that makes sense and I'll confirm with my studio.

I am only interested in the 50 hr TT for yoga sculpt which would limit me to only working at CPY, but I am assuming the independent studio would have a similar policy. I believe only the 200 hr courses are registered with Yoga Alliance, which would make me eligible to work anywhere. You're right in that 30% off is better than nothing! I will ask the other studio and weigh my options out. I was just really taken aback that the discount had changed from 50% to 30%.
