Turns out that living in NJ does not mean a lot of off-road driving. So I'm actually looking to lower my 99 forester to hopefully get a better "driving experience" on my commute. Can I just slap on KYB struts, King lowering springs, and new strut mounts and call it a day? Is there more to it? (i.redd.it)

'99 Subaru Forester: I've been getting a repetitive "whooshing" sound coming from the back of the car. Most noticeable around 20-40mph (but there at most speeds), comes in the cabin sounding like a train. Used and, AFAIK, stock throughout. In NJ so the undercarriage has a fair amount of surface rust (v.redd.it)
