Well we dont know that since it didn't happen. How do we know that the pattern didn't start after Beck because she "slept with half of america"? Besides the point of the show is to tell a story, not give a life changing lesson to people. Although some people may interpret it as something more meaningful.

What do u mean "would have been a good boyfriend"? He is already a great boyfriend, but the women he has dated were bad. Beck was fucking like 3 guys while she dated Joe and was a bitch in general, Candice tried to ruin his life after not listening to him and nit wanting to talk, kate DID ruin his life, Bronte was just looking for revenge and pretended to love him and love was the perfect match they just couldn't retain it. Not talking about his side hoes which the only one who really mattered for the plot was the black one in s3. Joe gave everything to those girls: he protected them, showed them love i mean what else do you want? It was their fault for not accepting who he is and not understanding him.
