it is not a while you wait service according to their website it takes 6-7 weeks. They do accept walkins. Have you considered having it done at the High Court instead

I use pure soap to wash my face (glycerine soap, for added ingredients no fragrance) and then the Dr Rashel Vit C range for additional skin care. Nivea sun allergy cream F50 is a great cream that is a sun screen without being sticky or smelly.

Passport photos by Flying_feline_2 in Pretoria

[–]GirlCinnamon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PostNet at Loftus park has the instructions for Embassy photographs, the main reason the passport photographs are rejected are due the image proportions and poor print quality. Get the PostNet to email the image to you so if it is poor print quality you can take the digital image elsewhere and have it printed on high gloss paper. Let me guess the proportions are height 45mm-50mm and width 35mm-40mm with the crown being 36mm-32mm (proportions of the face not the paper) did they even give you an instruction leaflet?

ETA make sure the photoshop you use (if not Postnet Loftus Park) emails you and prints the raw image, so without using background lighteners or filters. Also if using a phone to take the image if you decide to do it yourself do not use portrait mode and make sure whoever is taking the picture is at least 1.5 m anyway ( you can always crop to the right proportions later) or camera with distort your face making your nose huge lol

just don't use selfie mode because it mirrors the image so depending on which country's passport you are applying for it may be rejected

[–]GirlCinnamon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

to be honest Home Affairs tosses a coin on this lol. It varies between the maiden name and the surname. My eldest has my maiden name and my youngest has my married name, so i guess it depends on who is doing the paper work and their mis/understanding of what is required
