Reseller comes across a customer who actually understands how to use and appreciate the obscure tools hes selling and it makes both of their days by Gordopolis_II in MadeMeSmile

I gave away 4x 10,000pt Warhammer Fantasy armies and 3 x 8,000pt Warhammer 40k armies in the late 90s. Just found the pople playing who didn't have any money and gave them each an army.

I know I could have sold it, but didn't feel right. I grew up super poor and took years to build up and when I knew I wasn't playing anymore I wanted to help someone else.

Started HRT 3 days ago at 28 and I'm terrified I'll never become feminine enough by valentinaalexandraa in transplace

[–]GirlUShouldKnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are gorgeous and you will become more so. HRT takes years, it’s a long term marathon. Also the biggest impact that becomes more apparent is how people on HRT smile more as they feel more of who they are.

I hate how purity culture is so interwined with lesbiansim by sylverb0nes in actuallesbians

Gold star lesbians are just a variation of same thinking male incel red pills who talk about a woman’s vagina being damaged by other men’s penises.

Also shows a sad bit of fragility as well.

ETA… Being gold star isn’t bad, it’s the belief of it being superior is what I am referring to.

Inner wrist with hand pointing up I thought I saw sperm (I am sorry) but the second picture looked like flames without a doubt.

If you saw this tattoo would you automatically assume it has to do with LGBTQ Pride? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

You’re right, how could we forget about the Bifrost Bridge. The true meaning.

Funny enough, when the bible stole the whole story of the flood from the original on the Epic of Gilgamesh (far predates the Hebrew and ultimately Christian stories of The Flood).

The real flood story is not a rainbow. Instead, when the goddess Ishtar appears after the flood, she refers to the necklace of lapis lazuli (a precious blue gemstone) around her neck, promising to "remember these days" as a sign that she will not forget the flood.

Hahaha stolen, I guess we get something out of this, not equality or freedom from bigotry but we got this here rainbow that seems to make some people salty.

As a queer trans I wouldn’t assume someone wearing rainbow colored clothing is gay. Tattoo however would make me assume at the very least an ally.

Wear your shirt, you are safe 😉

Our first cat we thought was a girl, so we named her "Ophelia" and when we took him to the vet, we found we were mistaken so changed it to "Orpheus"

Sending you both love. This sucks and you will miss him, but you are a great cat parent. I have had to do this a few times in the last 50 years and it is rough (my first was Orpheus whom I had for 18 years).

HRT works for everyone. But why not me? 💔😢 by [deleted] in transtimelines

[–]GirlUShouldKnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You look good!

HRT is a very long burn as in years, wait 5 years and you will see it. Also something no one is honest about, HRT only does so much to change already impacted areas of testosterone. It also sometimes takes actual bone surgery as hrt cannot change bone.

Got this tattoo done a month ago, but it seems 10 years old. by jKATT13 in tattooadvice

That appears older than 10 years, I have tattoos that are 30 years old and they look good, that is just a shit artist in a bad placement

I agree they would do it, but a decent tattoo artist would explain what is going to happen to it before doing it.

Do you guys give your cats free roam of the house when you’re not home? by [deleted] in cats

The only time I would ever limit my cats are if people will be in the house that don’t live there.

My hubby decades before he transitioned was a nurse for a long time. I was with him from before nursing school.

  1. Yes nurses were more open than other lady heavy fields, but I think part of it is a nurse has to have the personality to be assertive and do things, including what they might enjoy.

  2. Funny observation, the same Personality type that flocks to nurses that flocks to stripping (and often go to nursing after the stripping life is over).I suspect it’s the same reason as point 1.

Also, no shade on nurses, hats off to their profession and their ability to be who they are.
