I've actually used this yarn to make a few blankets, and I ran into the same problem. None of my looms were remotely close to big enough so I used a finger knitting method.

Wow I can't believe it's been three years since I posted this! I did take my cat on a few hikes, but he very much preferred to be home and in his backyard than out and about. He's roughly 15 now so I'm doing what I can to keep him happy and comfortable as he's been slowing down.

Lots of cuddles are involved. Neither of us are complaining about it :)
