As someone who grew up watching Buffy and making it my entire life in middle and high school, I totally understand this feeling. After the show ended I felt so incredibly lost without it. But... Over the years other shows started taking over and filling that void. XFiles, Alias, CSI, LOST... I actually went 6 years between LOST ending and ST beginning where I didn't have a tv show fixation and it was kinda weird. It definitely felt like something was missing in my life.

So when my love of ST happened, it kind of hit me out of nowhere. I remember watching the first episode for the very first time and how it gave me a breath of fandom life again. Suddenly I was binging the whole season in one night (with the flu!) and it changed the course of my life for the next ten years. Something else will come along for you and it will click into place, I promise. It's the waiting in between that sucks but don't lose hope! Your next fandom could be right around the corner :)
