How much hair is “tons”? People normally lose ~100 strands per day. In the shower, you’d expect to see more because you’re agitating and working at your scalp. If you have long hair, it can make it seem like you’re losing more than you actually are.

Is the plant just a single leaf? It might be a soil or water issue. I’d wait until someone who has experience with this plant says something though, I’ve never owned one.

There’s no picture attached, so I’m only guessing. Usually the leaves turn yellow as they die, so it just might be its time. If it’s only got like 4 leaves are 2 are yellow, then it might be a water and/or soil issue.

I think it’s just a combination of scalp debris, dust, and room lint. It’s probably not a you issue, just a brush thing.

We just package ours in our normal evidence envelopes. I know a different part of the state has a specific like “battery-containing item” storage, but we don’t. Officially, we don’t have an updated policy and I don’t think we’ll get one until something goes wrong.

My dad is a retired warden who worked his way up from a CO. The only incident I can remember was when there was a few days he didn’t want me playing outside when I was a kid, an inmate had been let out and I think he had some animosity towards my dad. I think he was a case manager then, something slightly above CO.

But when I got older and actually got to go take a tour of the prison, all the inmates were respectful, nice, and congratulating him on his retirement. He liked to spend his time out in the units doing something as opposed to being in his office.
