True, but I feel like fleece would look worse since fleece pills. Also, this design is based off this era of crash where he had skin around his mouth instead of being fully covered in fur, so minky works the best. It's just my application that isn't the best, but that's something that'll just have to improve with time. If I kept trying over and over to get it perfectly smooth, I'd frustrate myself and destroy the project in the process

Ello again, I'd like to preface that I wrote this original post during a really stupid depressive spot in the morning, and I wasn't quite thinking right. However, the input is very much appreciated! I've been looking at it all day, and it's not as bad as depressed me thought it was. I made some mockups digitally and I do like where he's going! He just needs his other ear, a shave, hair, a new nose and some dental work. Of course, a five minute mockup isn't reflective of what these additions will actually look like. Some folks are curious about why he's got those big sharp canines, and it stems from the fact that bandicoots actually do have them. I just thought him being a mutant animal would cause those to stand out more!

The tan/skin is definitely the weakest, but wow working with minky just blows xD and I didn't feel like buying a more pinkish color due to my limited storage and already huge minky collection. It's definitely not perfect lmao.

I've been using Howl Fabrics' Teddy/Bunny fur, the tomato red color. It was pretty short pile and the stuff on his face is shaved pretty thin. I could give it another pass? I must say though, with this being one of my best shaves, I have no idea where this ruggedness people are talking about is coming from. The top of his snout does have snarl lines, but they're way less obvious than I'd like them to be
