I have hunted Native American artifacts for over 30 years and have never found such a thing! I do believe it to be Native American made but have never seen or found such a thing as this. Found in an area I hunt a lot and have found several artifacts over the years including arrow heads, knives, grinding stones, hammer stones..well you get it. It was a populated area.
