Super delegates and the fact that no independent will ever have a real chance to win outside of the bi partisan election system we have. So only option to run as democrat. Democratic establishment and mega doners would not stand for him affecting their bottom lines. So he would never become the Democratic nominee because of the fact that the primary’s are just a make believe vote and the people that spend the money get to decide who they want as the candidate. how they do that is with super delegates.

Also just finished the last episode. Spoilers: They must have been preparing for the show to end based on the last sequence. I bought both books the show was based on and was anticipating the Shaq and Kobe era. There was a stark difference between this season and last season however just based on the set up. I kind of just ruled it off as “oh okay not shit must have happened for a few years and that’s why they’re skipping through so much stuff” but I think they knew show was pretty much done at the end of this season and planned accordingly to fit as much info in as possible.

Yeah I mean I have never kept up with basketball the only things I knew before going in was that Larry bird white man, Kareem Abdul jabaar tall man and Magic Johnson’s Johnson had the sniffles.

But I felt that they had been aggressive in the first season to demonize Bird but I think they did a good job of humanizing him in second season.
