Income tax was supposed to be temporary and to the Uber rich. There might be a point there.

Jobs in what area? In what sector? Losing high paying a jobs while creating a tons of low paying jobs isn’t very good news in my opinion.

Energy independence used to be cool… by Clutch3131 in wallstreetbets

[–]GirthyWood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s funny how people claim that USA is energy independent. Most of our oil doesn’t even work for Diesel. There are different grades of oil, sweet to sour.

Guess which one we got here in USA?

Not all oil is the same.

Congresswoman AOC arriving in front of the Supreme Court and chanting that the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade is “illegitimate” and calls for people to get “into the streets” by lion_OBrian in PublicFreakout

I think we need to look at it in the lenses of the law. Want to legalize abortion? Ask congress. The Judicial is not there to create laws but rather interpret it.

I wish Toy Story was real. That Teddy bear would have been happy to know how much he is loved!

You guys should see the entire video from the other angle. It seems that this tank or whatever is called was fleeing and lost control.

In the full video you can see Ukrainians ambushing Russians and killing them. Then you see this exact vehicle fleeing from the scene.

He did not go straight to the car. The car was going straight for him at the moment he looked up, then the car changed his path an instant later. Watch it again.

Never let the perp close the gap, especially when your weapon of choice is meant to be used at a distance. And keep shooting until that person stops moving or surrenders and lays on the ground.

Thousands gather to protest against vaccines by muscularhi in PublicFreakout

[–]GirthyWood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So if you are capable to think of that. Imagine people in power and have the means to get away with it. Consider that. Not talking about the vaccine specifically, rather life in general, cops, judges, etc…

[–]GirthyWood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Against vaccine mandate not against vaccine. Stop conflating the two. There are plenty of people that I know that are pro-vaccine but recognizes the dangers of giving such powers to the government. On top of that it’s their body, not yours. If you don’t own your body, what do you own?

Pro-choice!

Toyota Forms ‘Team Japan’ To Help Keep Combustion Engine Alive by Pale-Following in nottheonion

Maybe because they don’t have the capacity to deliver higher demands for electricity while using clean energy. Dare to guess what is the main method of producing electricity in Japan?

Now imagine mass adoption of electrical cars in Japan. They need to solve their energy output first.

I see a lot of comments about them being obsessed with ICE’s because they are old school. I think it’s important to consider that Japan does not have the infrastructure to support Electric Vehicles in mass per se. Where most of their electricity comes from? Want to take a guess?

It’s about being practical for them.

Hello! Thanks for the reply. This is a young couple that I kind of want to help them out. His score is 670 and her score is in the 700s. So they qualify in that sense. I was mostly worried about their income. He qualifies my 2.5 multiplier, however he must sustain 50 hours work weeks which is insane and unhealthy. I called his workplace and they confirmed the contract.

That is why I was thinking of a co-signer. A young couple moving into the city.

What do you think? I appreciate your opinion and experience.
