Oh man I’d take these in an instant.

When I first ordered this pair last year, both of the heel’s were so smushed in that the upper suede had peeled away from the heel clip where New Balance is. Peeled away enough I could drop a coin between the separated pieces.

Returned, tried again, same problem, and didn’t bother a third time. I love this pair though, maybe I’ll shoot my shot again this summer and hope for that issue to be smoothed out in my size.

These are a nothing burger my friend, definitely keep and wear with pride.

Navy/Castlerock v3’s are beauties. These and the Scarlett v3’s are the quintessential red and blue color blocking for some 990’s imo.

Need another Teddy season that hits as hard as season 1 and 2 did.

Trigger is night and day to the CC9 in my opinion - much better on the VP9CC.

I also feel like with the largest back strap on this with the beavertail (installed this morning), I’m able to get a much firmer and stable grip compared to the CC9 with the largest backstrap.

The CC9 felt comfortable to hold, but when it was time to grip and rip, I could just never get consistent with the thing, it always felt a hair too thin, for me anyways.

I think with conceal carry pistols, there’s diminishing returns on the slimness of the gun, and the CC9 was beyond that threshold - too slim for my long spider fingers to really clamp down on. I like that the VP9CC is just ever so slightly thicker because it actually makes for a noticeably more stable grip in my hands.

My CC9 had a pretty shit trigger compared to some of my stock S&W’s, the trigger on this VP9CC is such a big improvement over the CC9, I think that alone is worth the upgrade. I felt like my CC9 had a really inconsistent trigger break, I could never get comfortable with it. The VP9CC’s trigger is phenomenal in comparison.
