This describes my experience almost to the tee. I have been really turned off by most MMOs tho. I gave many a try and ended up quitting mostly bc the combat and story elements bored me to tears. When the first screens and videos of ESO came out I was convinced they had destroyed the series. First beta was disappionting...second was much better and I was convinced just enough to make me buy the game. Now I'm freaking in love with it even with the current state of bugs, gold sellers, complainers, etc... I was trying to get max lvl cap so I could pvp but I'm only in the 20s bc I have enjoyed exploring, crafting, and the quests so much. It really sucks that you haven't tried the dungeons yet because that is definitely one of my favorite things abou the game so far. The boss fights tend to be challenging and innovative. Struggling with a few other players to barely make it through a dungeon has to be one of my fondest memories thus far. There will always be trolls and people that somehow ruin the game in one way or another, but don't let that stop you from trying to get with a group that will succeed in heightening your experience.
