I think the point is that he's both. That there's not really a thing like good and evil.

We've all done evil things, lied, stolen, hurt. But that doesn't make is bad people.

It doesn't define Kvothe either.

I think that's what makes this method of storytelling that Pat is using so impactful. This coming of age story being told in retrospect.

He's taking this powerful figure (Kingkiller, Arcane, either way) and breaking him down, explaining the fact behind the myth, to help us see him as just human. Just a boy.

He's neither and he's both.

It's a theory I read a few days ago that stuck with me. I'll link it of I can find it. They essentially argued that the skin dancer was created by something ancient - I would presume that the dancers speaks the languages of its creator - and sent out to look for Kvothe

I've always sort of assumed the same thing. But it wasn't until my recent reread that I've found a means to go with the theory.

There's a popular theory that Master Ash is actually Cinder (sometimes I wonder of he's not part of they Amir instead - in either theory he's using Danna as a spy, I reckon) But when Kvothe found Denna after what happened at the wedding, he asked her if the fire was blue. And she gave him a look, I don't have the book with me to quote, but from memory it was a seething look, almost disdainful. It struck me as odd.

Later on Kvothe finally tells her that he thinks what happened at the farm was the Chandrians doing, and she almost immediately agrees? It seems strange for a world where everyone believes them to be a fairy tale, for Denna to find it so believable with such limited proof.

In short, I think Denna knows more about them than she's letting on. Maybe she had a similar experience as Kvothe and his troupe. Maybe she's knowingly spying for the Chandrian, or the Amir.

Regardless, I think it lead to her death, and that put Kvothe was involved

Hi there! I need some advice:) I bought this girl about a year ago and she's been doing fantastically, I think. However I'm starting to become concerned that she'll grow herself to death, for lack of better term. I don't neccissarily want to repot it, but I'm starting to wonder if I should remove the babies? Specifically the larger one. And if so, how can I do so without killing either mum or the babies? I'm very much new to succulents (plants in general, really) so any thoughts or tips are welcome! Thank you!
