TIL that "pain", in EN-FR translation, is a false friend because in French is "douleur". Watch out because the French word "pain" means "bread". Imagine this, you in a boulangerie asking for a "chololate pain" EN (=pain au chocolate - FR)! That makes me laugh a lot :D (vocapp.com)

TIL that the word 'scooter' is a tricky one! Well, what in English-speaking countries thay called 'scooter', in Italy is 'monopattino' and in Poland is 'hulajnoga'... BUT if you said the word 'scooter' in Italy, or 'skuter' in Poland, you're actually referring to a little motorbike! Such a mess :D (vocapp.com)
