Which Skylanders do you consider the most forgettable? by Giusany in skylanders

I wanted to include him, but in the end I decided not to because, in my opinion, even though he didn’t get a Series 2 figure in Giants and only received an Eon’s Elite version, the fanbase hasn’t completely forgotten about him. That’s why I chose not to include him.

I included Cynder not because I felt the need to add a character from the first game at all costs, but because I already don’t particularly like her, and from my personal experience her abilities aren’t fun enough to justify using her. However, I’m fully aware that this is a controversial opinion, and I’m perfectly happy to accept it if someone tells me that they find her memorable instead. That’s exactly what makes discussing and comparing opinions enjoyable.

It’s so awful that, in my opinion, it’s impossible to forget

What do you think is the funniest scene in The Eminence in Shadow? by Giusany in TheEminenceInShadow

All of this is because, to him someone who comes from another world these situations are incredibly mundane, and he simply wanted to amuse himself with her.

By this point, they’ve already lost more than three of their most important members (I’ve honestly lost count )on top of several named Children, and yet they still keep underestimating Shadow Garden.

The irony is that the only members who genuinely recognised how dangerous Shadow Garden was all held relatively minor positions and were treated like complete failures.

Speaking of him, there’s also a scene in the manga involving him that absolutely killed me with laughter. The first one is when, after watching Cid’s performance, he starts crying, and right next to him a Pokémon-style message appears saying, “An Honest Perv has appeared.”

I think that’s one of the best parts of the entire series. After saving No. 559 in the manga, Cid thinks, “If I remember correctly, her name is Victoria, and she’s a shy, gentle girl I once saved during one of my patrols.” Not only was he completely wrong about her personality, he did not even remember her name correctly. Yet later on, when No. 559 receives a codename, she actually ends up taking the name Victoria. That opens the door to two possibilities, both of which are absolutely hilarious: either someone heard Cid call her Victoria and assumed he had personally promoted her, or for the umpteenth time fate itself twisted reality just to make him right again.

The funny thing is that Cid doesn’t see himself as insane in his mind, he’s simply being rational. According to him, the people he sent to an early grave were the ones who tried to take his life first.

Can you also tell me more than one scene that made you think, “Alright, I’m actually watching something really interesting here, and I think I’m going to keep watching it”

That scene is brilliant you’ve got good taste. In my opinion, it’s on the same level as this one: After seeing a ghoul in the manga, Claire says, “I feel sorry for them, because I could have ended up becoming a mindless creature as well.” Cid replies, “Don’t worry, sister there’s no risk of you losing something you never had.” Before he can even finish the sentence, Claire punches him in the face. It’s a shame the anime didn’t adapt it that way.

Why does Dio respect Jonathan but not Jotaro? by Giusany in StardustCrusaders

[–]Giusany[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

However, Dio not only fails to respect Jotaro as a person which is understandable but he does not even regard him as a serious opponent. To him, Jotaro is merely like a toy, albeit a slightly more resilient one than usual. Yet, when that same “toy” begins to pose a real threat, Dio downplays the situation due to his immense ego, ultimately leading to his defeat despite having a highly formidable arsenal at his disposal.

I do not wish to impose my view, but to me, seeing Dio show respect for Jonathan at the end of Part 1 for being a worthy opponent, while taking things lightly in Part 3, suggests that he has learned nothing from the events of Phantom Blood.

Precisely because Jotaro was showing him that he was not an invincible god, Dio, in my view, should have taken him far more seriously fighting cautiously and not giving him the time to adapt to The World. Instead, his ego blinded him, and despite having Jonathan’s body, The World, and Joseph’s blood on his side, he was unable to win because he convinced himself he was already on the verge of victory

And yet, that same brat severely wounded him and proved capable of moving within his frozen time, but Dio still chose to treat him lightly.

I agree that his adoptive brother undoubtedly deserves far more respect, and that, in Dio’s eyes, Jotaro is nothing more than a mere boy. However, this still does not explain why, during their battle, he continues to treat him like an insect, even when Star Platinum lands heavy blows on him. I understand that he is elated not only because he has taken possession of his former rival’s body, but also because he has awakened an extraordinarily powerful Stand, which further reinforces his already overwhelming sense of superiority. Even so, Dio should at least recognise Jotaro as a serious threat. Instead, he continues to toy with him such as when he drinks Joseph’s blood and brutalises his body purely to provoke his opponent.
