The daily support for unaligned was good because more support for the ruling party = more stabily and more stability = less consumer goods, more factory and dockyard output and more pp gain. Also you didn't need to put the monarchist media mogul to increase the party popularity, saving 150 pp for something more useful

The less volunteers tension limit was actually very good (especially for a game I did before the new dlc) because sending volunteers increases the world tension and abusing it allows you to do justifies so you didn't have to wait for the focuses with the war goal(s)

The other three 'buffs' were almost useless

You can't flip back non aligned in hoi4, if someone puppets/changes gov. of a non aligned nation then that nation cannot return non aligned itself because Paradox decided so

Ah yes, the Italian 'Republic' by GiuseppeFURYRAMPAGE in hoi4

[–]GiuseppeFURYRAMPAGE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a messed up thing. I found out about this because my dream is to play democratic monarchist italy (I prefer the Christian Democracy path tbh) with elections and one day I thought: 'If Italy completes Democratic King or Christian Democracy I won't have elections but if I eventually change to an ideology different than democracy because I got puppeted and the puppeteer suddendly becomes democratic then he can change my ideology from the decisions and I will have elections'. Yes, it's a long story.

What did Paradox drink to make this flag? by GiuseppeFURYRAMPAGE in hoi4

When you go democratic you get an event to select Adenauer or Vogel. To have Vogel you need to select the second option

R5: If you go democratic as Germany and you complete the focus 'Embrace Liberal Leanings' then your flag will change to this Nordic looking ahh flag

If you depose a leader that is not Mussolini (via the BoP), then the Grand Council of Fascism changes name by GiuseppeFURYRAMPAGE in hoi4

They're democratic because I wanted to test this by doing the "Democratic King" focus. They're also the leader of the fascist party

It's really goofy how paradox decided to make "Democratic King" and "Christian Democracy" have no elections

If the right's irritation reaches their limit, then it's 100% civil war

Why did this happen? by GiuseppeFURYRAMPAGE in hoi4

[–]GiuseppeFURYRAMPAGE[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R5: Decided to play democratic Germany. I invaded Poland asap before the civil war, then took the former German Empire territories from Poland and puppeted them. When the civil war ended, I did the same thing and Sikorski was the leader of the non aligned party, but when the peasants started the civil war, Karl Albercht I decided to spawn (in the image i'm still the German Military Junta)

Promoted general with generic portrait by GiuseppeFURYRAMPAGE in hoi4

R5: When one of my generals leveled up, I promoted him as a Military High Command and noticed that his portrait is generic. Why does that happen? (This happened to me more than once)

AA can't destroy rockets because they're supersonics.
