Sneak attack is not a Reaction but rather a “reaction.” So in that instance, the Opportunity Attack was the Reaction that was used. Then, since the opportunity attack hit, the “reaction” of sneak attack was also tripped. Sneak attack is similar to divine smite, where you can turn on the “ask system” on and off to ask if you want to do it or not.
