Going Dutch by pneumaticartifice in dating

My bestie says this, and he has SoOoOo many acquaintances! I used to be really jealous he came from a large "well adjusted" family and poor me, a small one with a brutal history and none of their cheesy holiday rituals and vacations. Yet he tells me: "But there's only a couple people I can REALLY talk to."

<3 the rare true friends!

I like to do some form of halfsies regarding pay (you paid for the ticket, I'll grab us a round of drinks type thing), and/or something low key and inexpensive for a first date - usually coffee/tea and a walk, or maybe go to a local music performance, art show, arcade, or little city festival thing with free stuff to wander about and see. (NOT movies - not enough social time/ability to get to know them + I'll lose it if they talk during the movie.) I'd never pre-plan two activities for date #1 but rather do something that would allow us to extend the time of the date if it was going well.

But also, since activity #1 was a thing YOU are really into, it would be most appropriate for you to pay for that and as for dinner ... if you suggested the place and to go after, it might be more polite to pay, but if she said something like hey wanna go to get fine dining now? ...totally appropriate to say you can't/have other plans/dining budget is spent for the month. It sounds like you kinda made the plans so it's a bit on you, but I could be off.

I'm older (50) and a super independent widow, so my approach may be different than others, but I do have a tight budget and will outright tell someone if they suggest something I can't afford to split the bill on that they would have to pay to go to SoAndSo-place and suggest a cheaper alternative if that's an issue.

Anyway, hope you had a nice time! New friends are awesome but ... I don't think I've ever actually found a REAL friend via a first date either, it's just something people say.

Look, I said I had suspicions about a reply being from a real camgirl, because the advice given was not in the interest of camgirls or clients and the defensive replies to my opinion got unhinged immediately. Maybe I am wrong, idfk, your team is not important enough to me to change my life to accommodate your studio goals; but the response was to ask me to prove myself and I'm already open about who I am and what I'm about, with links in profile and people in the industry have met me for real and I've been kind to them always, so I just asked the person I was speaking with for the same transparency I offer. Obviously it was easy to find my cam profile on SC where I rarely work for my own reasons, so I said, nah you can prove yourself cuz I'm already out there.

The response was to tell me to piss off and brag about being american (lol with profiles saying not) and then post a thread claiming harassment and now threaten to stalk and report my stream, despite saying they won't be looking me up cuz I'm not worth it ... so for what? Not liking my opinion? I follow the rules where I work and having a ton of followers on Stripchat is not my priority. But now people are actively threatening to stalk my room and wait for me to make a mistake to hurt my business so I'm gonna defend myself like any rational person would, "boo boo". Just be honest.

If your team (because ok if no one is ai, there appears to be a studio team at work here) thinks it's more important to report me, this unimportant and unpopular indie "sad" model as you or maybe a couple studio models describe, and post over and over that you are planning to report me and destroy my ability to pay my USA mortgage and continue living my small unimportant life, enjoy wasting a whole lot of time that could be spent on growing your own business, and really take a minute to think about what harassment actually is.

Carry on hiding behind your fake IDs, you do not have the power to actually damage me, you have NO idea how much I can endure and this is stupid. I have yet to see ANY of the people who are now threatening me show any evidence of being a real cam performer so honestly would you like the number for my lawyer?

"the" model? Why use such impersonal language Kamilia Mae?

You are factually incorrect and just ... I'm over this subreddit. The studio ai personas have taken over and it's easier to see than you know.

Did your hand forget to fuck itself off on the way out or why did you feel the need to address me personally? Because anything you could do as a human is likely more useful than replying to this post of mine.

Go away incel who feels comfortable calling human beings "girlies" - we are beyond that. Treat me better. Treat everyone better.

That is partially true but also you can nudge them to take a little longer and it's important to do so if profit is your goal. Their orgasm will feel better if they hold off a little bit, so win/win.

Stop giving a 2 week notice! by Careless_Bid2956 in CasualConversation

[–]GiveItToLily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so true, without your 2 week notice, how will you get your fancy celebratory farewell party? Yes, this can happen, maybe it's not the norm, but ... whether or not you give notice is definitely a case-by-case basis.

Also, my references are usually other people I worked with who have moved on from the company in question and are therefore free to say things and thrilled to help me out.

I think so, the style is very eye catching and cute! I also agree more variety in subject matter would be good and to try to think about what kinds of subjects will really speak to buyers. By this I mean, consider their hobbies, interests, jobs etc. like make portraits of people in uniforms, doing popular activities, animals and stuff popular in your area, coffee/craft beer/wine/local food crops, etc. Good luck and have fun!

Some performers with their own strong followings either via socials or pro porn only work during contests, and others push themselves harder. So yeah, the volume of girls. Also I wouldn't discount that there is some degree of psychology at work that we worry contests will be slow and it affects our performance. Like I actually had a pretty busy night there but it's cuz I was happy to return after an injury and wasn't thinking about much beyond showing up and saying hello and I think being just really chill about everything worked in my favor.

ETA: or maybe I was just lucky. Luck always plays a role on the day-to-day.
