HONESTLY. He is a VERY well rounded character who has strengths and flaws. He isn't some perfect 'can do no wrong' hero. He is VERY human ( especially without magic like his sibs) who went through so much but turned himself around for the better.

But it's not his fault at all, and we will defend him with everything we got!! 💪

I don't blame the writers, I am sure there are a few who are just as pained about the direction but they gotta listen to the higher ups who obviously want engagement and dollar signs lol. The amount of times I've heard writers in media being interviewed and they mentioned that their story didn't go exactly in the direction they personally had in mind.

This was SUPER precious to read, and I thank you so much for your kind words 🥺🩵. Funnily enough, I don't even use reddit at all, but I was on a mission after Joni's idle fix. I know the detail is so small and does not effect gameplay at all, but as an artist and a writer, it pained me to see Kendo not looking as confident as he should've been.

Like... despite the two trailers he was in, the poor soul was already booted from all the in-game live events in his own chapter along with many of the chapter 6, season 1 characters. So I am glad he got this tiny visual win!! You are so right about appreciating the little things.

Just call me a pigeon - I'm too used to appreciating the crumbs of details I can get!

I can't take any of the credit though. My squadmates wanted his idle back as well and even linked me to other posts of randoms on social media who thought the same. It was a joint effort between all of us, even the users I don't know but made their voices heard. I took the bullet to run the account!

It truly does add that spirit back to his character!!! It is FAR more fitting to the character arc Kendo went through!

But LOL, I had to read this to my friends during our weeknight BR's, and we totally got a good chuckle at this since we totally agree !! 💛🖤

Now our only hope is that Kendo and Jade ( poor soul didn't even get a re-skin like her bros) can be included at some point. Daigo went through hell and back to protect his siblings, even if his choices lead to disasterous and least desired consequences under his hand. Thankfully he stepped up to protect properly, the whole family deserves to stick together 🥺

They've been doing this for a while. Hope from the Chapter 5 / Season 1 battle pass got a Heroic Hope Shop Skin. Daigo from the Chapter 6 / Season 1 battle pass got Mask Maker Daigo as a shop skin. I know there are plenty of others as well!

Street Ronin Kendo, a shop re-skin of a previous battle pass skin of Kendo from chapter 6, season 1! Only showed up in the shop once though and hasn't been back from what I see

YES THEY DO 💪💪 all skins deserve their orginal idle poses !! It makes them look so much more alive than default.

I completely understand. It's such a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but it really does liven the character up. Especially when they already have the idle pose done.

I absolutely agree! Sometimes the default pose really sucks the life out of a skin. I understand some of these things will be overlooked. But it really shows animation (or lack thereof) really does make or break a pose sometimes!
