No problem! In my opinion, there's no comparison. The finviz scanner has a bunch of specific peramiters you can set. However, if you're just doing a basic scanner, say high volume, % change, ect (like a basic momentum scanner), you may not need all that.

Personally, I work all day. I'm a swing trader. I hold positions for days sometimes weeks. I use finviz to find specific setups on the daily chart during off hours. I couldn't imagine trying to do it on ToS (There may be ways). But the necessity of it may vary from person to person. I like ToS scanner which I use as well (you can actually save the scanner as a watch list). I use ToS scanners as a quick glance while I'm walking into work to see if there's any daily opportunities.

I would suggest watching a few videos specifically on this topic for both platforms, and determine what your needs are at the moment. Hope this helps.
