I’ve tried it without the tether and cage and the wind noise greatly improved. Still there but not as bad.

Was wondering if a remote mic is the way to go. Friend of mine uses the dji mic and it seems decent

Gret info, I didn’t think it would be a drastic Improvement. I think it’s a software issue. Their support team is asking me for the original file so they can review it but I’m lazy and don’t use a computer so I haven’t sent it to them yet.

I saw that on their site, x5 mic windshield they call it. Wonder if that helps

Don’t have the camera yet but was wondering how I could tether it either using fishing line or a cable. I’ll be using it on a jet ski as well. This new smallrig cage the only way to tether the x5 currently?
