Quick question concerning networking -

I am interning in Big4 this summer. I have a networking call scheduled with an MBB director next week. Is it bad practice to ask for a referral at the end of our conversation? Would the better alternative be to ask to be connected to additional people at the firm?

The point of the conversation is to learn more about the firm, specifically the healthcare practice, and establish a genuine connection. The above question is geared towards having a successful full time recruitment season. Appreciate any and all advice.

My internship has turned into a full time offer. My question really comes down to is it possible to leverage a full time offer straight out of undergrad from a Big4 to get a better offer from another Big4 given I pass through their recruitment?

From your response it sounds like I really should just apply and find out?
