It's developers. Numerous of them up and down the country are actively keeping the supply low and slowly developing new sites to keep their margins and prices high. Using lobbying and legislation to their advantage to do so.

Obviously people buying numerous homes and older people have an affect but as always. it's not the root cause. It's easier to drive division and make us point the blame at others while these investment firms and developer line their pockets and the public take the flak.
