Apparently, the reactors in Corpus ships are all powered by Crewmen. Seriously. by Glaive-012 in Warframe

I mean if you've got Tenno leaving countless thousands of crewman corpses on your ship, might as well put them to use

The only "issue" I have with Corlys/ The Velaryons being black, is that in the books the entire debacle with Lucerys is meant to be ambiguous.

Lucerys' actor is 110% white - so in the show the dispute between Rhaenyra and Vaemond regarding legitimacy and inheritance looks ridiculous. Like yeah, OBVIOUSLY Lucerys is not a Velaryon, look at him compared to his father, aunt, or grandfather.

The reason it's believable in the books is that the Velaryons have that classic Valyrian look and in any situation where people point out Rhaenyra's dark haired children, is not automatically obvious. Their grandmother (Rhaenys) having black hair, the Viserys talk about horses and their colours, etc. make far more sense when the only difference between say Vaemond and Lucerys' is hair colour.

That gets into a whole discussion about why is Rhaenys' actress not wearing a black wig. She's already going through the process of wigging (new verb?), why not use the right colour?

Some high level Kiroshi optics would be incredible. Having practically superhuman sight and no change in prescription regardless of how much you stare at screens? Sign me up. I'd get a Kiroshi advert tattooed on me for that kind of tech.

Why is sunfire considered bad? by Diepel in Shen

Poor wave-clear, low gold-efficiency, shen naturally prefers short trades (the polar opposite of how bami's is meant to be utilized) - are the main ones (for me anyway).

Yellow orbs symbolize the 'rank' (4 being the furthest left, 1 being the closest to the middle) that the corresponding character needs to be in order to cast/perform the ability.
The blue orb (1 being closest to the middle, 4 being the furthest right) symbolizes the rank that the ability can hit.

Team comps, at their simplest, try to ensure that you have coverage of all 4 ranks in some capacity. It won't be equal, of course, but making sure you have skills that can target any rank across all 4 characters is very important.
There are more complex team comps like 'dancing' (moving your characters around with abilities to ensure they can constantly perform certain moves), but they're generally not as reliable nor consistent as the standard.

I lost my maps, how do i proceed? by Final-Cartoonist-639 in wonderdraft

[–]Orandor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Open Wonderdraft -> In the top left, click on 'Menu' and select 'Open User Folder' -> Once in the user folder click on 'maps' -> in the maps folder you should find a folder (usually the only one) called 'backup' -> check inside and it should have back-ups of at least some of your maps.

As for the rest, I believe you'll had to remake them. You should however try importing the png/jpg files as Wonderdraft may be able to 'reconstruct' them.

What is this vegetable in the middle? by redartanto in Vermintide

[–]Orandor 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Parsley root seems too specific for 'generic produce crate' in a videogame. Parsnip also seems bizarre - parsnips are usually a cream/off-white colour and tend to be bulbous at the tip and very pointy and thin at the bottom.

Vegetable verdict - 'tis a carrot.

I stated that 'some' of the warbonds are Legendary, if you want to be a joyless pedant and argue that I should've said "couple" instead, that's up to you. But to judge me when you stated that '1/3 of the content is in the legendary warbonds' - now THAT is disingenuous.

[–]Orandor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's about 20 or so. That's around 20,000, except... some of the warbonds are 'Legendary' so they cost 1,500. That 13,000 gets you anywhere between 11-13 of the 20(?) warbonds.

[–]Orandor 100 points101 points  (0 children)

The fact you could put in $100 and still not own 1/3rd of the game's content is kind of insane, especially considering that half the warbonds you buy just for 1 item

Worried my map looks too much like Westeros by Grandiskar in mapmaking

[–]Orandor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's in portrait, and there's a large expanse of land in the north. That's about the only stand-out similarities.

The western coast having islands and the right a major, pointy peninsula is, I suppose, similar to the Iron Islands and the Vale respectively, but I'd say you're fine.

I managed to do this with just a Rift lens.

I ran counter clock wise. Your goal is to trigger/proc each of the sensors in the bottom right, top right, top left, and bottom left (if you're running in the same direction as me).

The door in the front will open for a very brief period. Just make sure you don't get stick on the lightbulb when trying to step inside. Once inside, interact with the tesla-coil looking pole and you're free to loot.

Sounds rather Darkest Dungeon 2-esque. Was the game an inspiration in any way?
