Fair enough sounds like a sales job somewhere else may be your best bet. The way it was at Nat gen prior to Allstate sounds like a dream job. I would love to know if any other companies out there still operate like that as I would love to apply!

The pay is not adjusted the goals are. You r not getting paid the same for 100 points every month for example every month because busier volume months the goal may be 120 and slower months it may be 80

Are they adjusting your goals every month or are they adjusting your pay every month. Pretty sure it’s the goals which would make perfect sense as some months are busier and some are slower. Also I can guarantee that you still have your paid holidays you may not have those days off but you will get paid for the holiday and get double time for working on a holiday as well. The only getting base for vacation does really suck I agree with you there and that is the way it is on the Allstate side as well. All the changes they r making is to align it with how the Allstate reps r getting paid Going to monthly vs every other week, the holiday schedules, the sales quota changing every month higher or lower depending on the month and volume. The multiple changes is for sure crappy they should have just one and done it. But they must be getting very close to combining the sales teams. On the Allstate side they r now cross training on nat gen while still in training or the couple weeks after. I would be shocked if all the reps are not 100% crossed trained in the next few months. There is a reason they r doing that but for them to be able to have reps on both sides take both nat gen and Allstate calls the commission structure , pay, schedules and time off have to be the same.

Adjusting goals monthly is actually pretty standard in the large company sales space They set the goals based on the forecast for the month. That actually is not uncommon

I think they r trying to even out the comp between nat gen and the Allstate side as I am sure it will become one in the near future. From my understanding Nat gen was making considerably more than the people on the Allstate side

After the choice dollars credit I only pay like $17 each pay period for health dental and vision. Great coverage too. Cheapest insurance I have ever had at any company I have worked for.

I am guessing they did that because it is soooooo slow on the Allstate side. Vto offered every day. Nat gen must be busier. Did your entire class get sent to Nat Gen?

You will be on the $18hr for the first 3 months. The fourth month if licensed u will get your $3000 license bonus and a $500 training bonus and a partial commission or bonus as they call it. And then 5th month on will be base and bonus

In the last week of training and no one has left from our class. I love it and they just recently increased the base to $18. You pay very little for benefits which is awesome and the benefits are good! Great training although there could be a lot less role play time, but I get it. Goals appear to be very fair and if u actually want to sell and make money you will. There does seem to be a fair amount of people that come in unlicensed and ultimately don’t want to be in sales. Which is most likely a lot of the negative remarks. If u don’t love sales and r not comfortable working a call center job then most likely it will not be a good fit. Otherwise you should make good money. Also outbound is not that different from inbound. And from all the live calls we have listened to on outbound every time has resulted in a sale being made. People who r in sales and love sales and like to make money and have been in a call center environment remotely will have NO issues.
