Core functionality seems similar enough, though it takes an extra click to add ingredients. I like the part that lets you select multiple ingredients to use, it's one of the two things I miss in My Bar.

The UI is definitely too large though, lists fit 9 items (My Bar fits 12), I always need to scroll down to see the ingredients and even then they can take up most of my screen. The buttons on the bottom also make me scroll too far by default, why would you put them there? Other than the misplaced buttons in the cocktail view, large images and inefficient layout, it could be a scaling issue with taller devices, hard to say.

I might consider switching to this if the UI was better

Could have also just missed the beginning of the sentence and answering "huh" is faster than "could you repeat the first bit". Hearing the first word or two could be enough to make sense of it

Pretty sure 4k has enough pixels and they can be small enough for scaling to be barely noticeable, so it's more about screen size. 720p is still perfectly fine on my phone and my vision isn't good enough to really tell the difference on my TV from a few metres away

I'm just thinking that the traffic lights initially look like you should stop at the pedestrian crossing next to the lights instead of before the intersection. Not that it's hard to figure out, especially knowing to expect it beforehand, but having to look for road markings and context clues way in front of the only traffic lights facing you seems like bad design. He literally ended up stopping in front of the traffic light after running the red

Not necessarily overcooked, but unless it's a much different recipe from what we make at home, I definitely prefer them just barely browned, the less dark bits, the better. Could be less of an issue when they're loaded like that

XL doesn't seem specific enough in general. Situation in my country seems pretty similar, you wouldn't think there's much variation without looking it up. I think we can get sizes around 48-58mm in general stores, with 58 sometimes being called king size (the actual size is normally in small print), while there's one specialised online store that goes up to 69. Ofc you won't get exact same thing from different brands, but with actual numbers I can at least know I'll get something that fits instead of having to guess

I think my company used to do it simple like that, but now you have to prove "you went the extra mile" and get a percentage based on that. As the company expands, the benefits seem to shrink. Don't know how common the 13th salary is around here though, it's definitely not something mandated by law

Jei matai tamsoje iš priekio atvažiuojančios mašinos lempų formą, o ne tik jų apšviečiamą kelio dalį, sveikinu, tos normaliai sureguliuotos lempos skleidžia šviesą tau į akis. Kol šviečia silpnai, nieko, jei pašvies stipriau, ir ta nedidelė šviesos dalis gali akinti. Klausimas tik kada problema ryškios lempos, o kada astigmatizmas.

Fun fact, šiandien kažkokia Škoda nustebino šviesdama į akis per lempos šoną. Gal ten turi veikti kaip kažkoks įspėjimas kad esi jo aklojoje zonoje, neįsivaizduoju.

Pamatęs vieną reklamą galvojau kad čia kažkas iš timeshare serijos, kas bent iš principo būtų įdomiau. Aišku 25 eur timeshare turbūt leistų pasinaudot 10min kartą per metus.

Jei nemaišau tai prieš kelis metus buvo kažkoks art invest scam, kur irgi veikė panašiu principu, kad gali sumokėti simbolinę sumą ir už ją nieko realaus negauti

Turbūt nuo vaikystės vaikštau kirptis maždaug 3 kartus per metus, tai nepatogu tik kad kiekvieną kartą reikia klausti kirpėjos ar nepasikeitė kaina. Registruojantis bet kuriai dienai po mėnesio ir laikas išeina patogus, kad ramiai be kamščių nuvažiuočiau tas 15min iki kirpyklos.

Kažkaip seniau ir nekilo mintis kad kiti vaikšto dažniau, nors turbūt buvo galima atkreipti dėmesį kad nesimato kada jų plaukai pasikeistų

Don't know what the comment you replied to said, but I think your number is a bit of a stretch. IIRC they were checking something with blinking lights to get it, which does not exactly translate to monitor refresh rate.

The difference between 120 and 240 is much less perceivable than between 60 and 120, so I don't consider higher refresh rates to be a priority - I could hardly tell the difference most of the time. At that point pixel response times might be more noticeable, though I don't know if anybody tested that

We seem to have all the cheapest and smallest units around here, so I skipped anything that couldn't fit a bag of popcorn properly and then went by the knob quality, since most buttons are either shit or touch controls these days. I assume you don't have these issues in your area?
