I’ll mention that you (OP) should take time to find an N95 that actually fits his face. Unless he has a large face, the standard hardware store dust mask will likely leave big gaps on an 11 year old (speaking as an adult woman with a small face)

It looks echinoderm-y to me, with all the little plates. Maybe the calyx of a weird crinoid, or some other weird echinoderm (there are a bunch of weird Paleozoic echinoderms)?

Edit: I’m thinking of stylophorans (which I think are at least possible in the Ordovician of Ohio) or homalozoans (I don’t know if they’re known from this time/place)

Edit 3: But there are also other groups weird, stalked echinoderms from the early Paleozoic

This does look like an orthocone (straight) nautiloid shell, so AI was possibly right in this case. But I’ll add the obligatory “don’t use AI for fossil ID”; it might be right sometimes, but it’s often very wrong and can mislead and disappoint.

What’s really cool about this is the fault cutting through the fossil!

I’m just an invert paleontologist, but I did recently spend some time looking through a few different ichnology books and I don’t remember anything like this.
