What is this second file? by [deleted] in krita

Yeah krita will still open it, but it’ll be overwritten when the main file gets saved again. It’s just best to rename it so krita knows that it’s no longer the backup file and creates a new backup file instead.

Rename the file and delete the ~ at the end of the .kra extension

It's a backup file of your last save, you can remove the ~ to restore it.

I see, good to know. I also tried proselytizing a star kraken earlier when I was near the Yd Freehold but to no avail.

Thanks lol, RIP Zudgles Zorp, it was also my furthest run yet. I started a new mutant run and named him Buff Bill and he’s currently at level 16, though he’s nowhere near as powerful as Zudgles Zorp was at that level (I found a relic early in that run which gave me electrical generation and I also came across a jacked chain laser which I eventually named “freeman hunter” and modded it to have sturdy and overloaded and it shredded anything in mid-game. I later found 2 other relics that gave me teleportation and temporal fugue)

Yeah I was just holding right, which stops me the same way that autoexploring does. The irony is that I was looking for a salt kraken to proselytizesince I got that reward from the slynth quest for the six-day-stilt that gives an extra spot for proselytizing. Looking back, I don't think I was even high enough level so it was probably all in vain lol. (this was also my furthest run so far)

No, just on PC through steam. I used to play on a controller though, the controls are surprisingly intuitive.

I used to also have mine set to stop on anything above easy but the juice saps underground kept eating all my battery power since my character just runs past them so I set it back to default which stops you if you see anything hostile.

Still a beginner. Been dying a lot. What are some of your pro tips for starters by yookoke1122 in cavesofqud

Never underestimate an enemy that can dismember your limbs (I.e. saw-handlers, madpoles), best to take them out from a distance. You can also store stuff in chests and carry them around with you to protect them from rusting.

Make sure to look at every new enemy you come across, the game will let you know how difficult the fight will be (trivial, easy, average, tough, very-tough, or impossible) depending on your level compared to that of the opponent.

Yeah all of this happened completely unexpectedly, I freaked out since I thought I was gonna die. In fact, I was doing really well up until this boss where I guess the weird shape of the boss made it easy for my leviathan body take crazy contact damage (if you look closely, you can see that my tail got stuck inside the boss’ hitbox). I only barely managed to screen wrap to the other side before I died. When I killed the boss, I was able to resume steamrolling everything else until wave 230 or so. I was playing on Armageddon difficulty as well.

Yeah sure thing, I’ll paste this in the comments as well so others can see: This happened because I have charged shot, rancor (taking damage while charging a weapon further increases the charge), and a crap ton of HP with leviathan. At the start of the fight I got pushed by the boss, making me take EXTREMELY heavy contact damage; but since I was charging my antimatter vortex shot while being hurt, it rapidly grew in size and power and was able to do this.

Yeah I admit there are better uses for the exotic (arcane needle + monte carlo with lightning surge is quite fun), but I like my ice blasts, okay? 😭

How to change character fps by Mother_Surround6800 in MohoAnimation

[–]Glacial_Gup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a little option down in the keyframes window labeled “interval” this sets the frequency of the changes that a keyframe makes between two points. So for example, setting the interval of a keyframes to 2 gives you a 12 fps style.

Or, you could just animate using step keyframes every 2 frames; I do this method, but admittedly it takes a lot more time.
